About the role

  • The Physiotherapist (PT) is an integral member of the Physiotherapy service and Allied Health.
  • This position would primarily cover in-patients on General Internal Medicine.
  • Clinical care (consultation, assessment, treatment planning, implementing and evaluating client-specific treatment programs)

Requirements

  • Performing other duties consistent with the job classification, as required
  • Master's Degree in Science (Physiotherapy) or recognized equivalent based on Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job
  • Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment and to function in an independent, self-directed manner
  • Computer proficiency

Nice to have

  • Experience with General Internal Medicine (GIM) and Oncology patient population preferred
  • Membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association preferred

  • Oxygen titration and suctioning experience and rostering of skills

Compensation

  • $43.47 - $54.34 per hour
