About the role

Responsibilities
- ElevateBio is seeking a Senior Director of Communications to develop and lead a proactive communications strategy for our growing, multi-site biotech/CDMO organization.
- Develop and execute ElevateBio's communications strategy, with a focus on proactive internal communications that help employees understand company
- Build and manage internal communications channels and rhythms, including town halls, newsletters, leadership updates, employee announcements, editorial planning, and communications for organizational change and key initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 18+ years of progressive experience in corporate, internal, or strategic communications, ideally within biotech or life sciences.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and messaging skills, with the ability to translate complex business and technical information into clear, engaging communications.
- Experience leading communications through growth and transformation, with a strategic yet hands-on approach to planning and executing high-impact communications strategy.
