About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Director or a Principal specializing in the Consumer Products Industry at Anchin.
This is a senior leadership role for a seasoned tax professional with deep expertise in tax planning and compliance for businesses in the consumer products industry, including manufacturers, distributors, and retailers.

Oversee preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for Corporations, Partnerships, and individual shareholders/partners.
Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize tax positions for clients.
Mentor and develop tax professionals at all levels, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
Drive growth of the Consumer Products practice through market-facing initiatives, networking, and thought leadership.
Communicates Effectively: Delivers messages in a clear and concise manner, listens attentively.

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, with significant exposure to the consumer products industry.
Proven track record in tax planning, compliance, and advisory for complex entity structures.
Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
Deals with technical issues comfortably and can complete work at a high level of proficiency.
Ability to apply technology solutions to work.
The ideal candidate will combine technical excellence with strong business development skills and the ability to mentor and grow a high-performing team.
Education:
CPA required.
Ability to develop and execute business development strategies.
Proficient in using tax software and Microsoft Office applications.

Competitive annual salary in the range of $220,000 to $500,000+, based on the individual's experience level.
