- The CTO, Data Platforms turns that foundation into a clear, defensible, repeatable practice, setting the direction, raising the delivery floor, sharpening the pre-sales motion, and converting platform credibility into pipeline and signed engagements.
Responsibilities
- Own the data platform technology strategy end to end.
- Codify which platforms we lead with, where we partner, and where we walk away.
- Lead on Databricks.
- Serve as one of the firm's senior technical authorities on Databricks Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, Lakehouse Federation, MLflow, Mosaic AI, Genie, DLT, and the partner program.
- Maintain a credible operator's view on what's production-ready and what isn't.
- Lead on Microsoft Fabric.
- Serve as one of the firm's senior technical authorities on Microsoft Fabric OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Real-Time Intelligence, Data Factory, and the Fabric partner program.
- Drive pre-sales credibility.
- Lead technical discovery on qualified data platform opportunities.
- Shape proposals, scope engagements, and stand up in front of client CTOs, Chief Data Officers, and architecture leads.
