About the role

  • 36 hrs/week, nights, 7p-7a, every third weekend, holiday rotation.
  • Assesses patients' vascular access needs and determining the most appropriate access device.
  • Monitors patients' vascular access devices for complications, such as infection, occlusion, and extravasation.

Skills

  • Effective customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, required.
  • Demonstrated leadership and teaching abilities, required.
  • Professionally appropriate analytical and organizational skills, required.
  • One year post orientation related clinical experience in area of specialty, preferred.
