- The Director of Financial Data & Analytics will be a strategic leader driving the company's data and reporting capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Own the core data infrastructure: Lead data pipelines into Snowflake and Power BI, maintaining accuracy, consistency, and enterprise-level scalability.
- Drive strategic analytics & insights: Apply predictive modeling and statistical analysis to inform executive decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
- Lead operational & financial metrics: Oversee reporting on KPIs like churn, signed accounts, and performance metrics
- partner with underwriting and finance on deal evaluation.
- Build scalable systems & automation: Design future-proof data models, automate manual processes, and maintain data integrity.
- Lead a high-performing team: Manage 6+ direct reports across Data Analysts and Managers of Data & Analytics
- Cross-functional partnership: Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to align on metrics, reporting, and business decisions.
- Lead operational & financial metrics: Oversee reporting on KPIs like churn, signed accounts, and performance metrics; partner with underwriting and finance on deal evaluation.
- Lead a high-performing team: Manage 6+ direct reports across Data Analysts and Managers of Data & Analytics; set priorities, mentor talent, and elevate team capabilities.
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of analysts and managers, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in financial data and analytics or related fields
- Advanced SQL skills and strong experience with BI tools, particularly Power BI
- Experience with data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake) and familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R
- Work authorization in the U.S. is required.
