About the role
- Executes data testing procedures, prepares documentation, and contributes to the evaluation of internal controls while gaining foundational knowledge and experience.
- Executes data-driven testing procedures under the direction and supervision of experienced team members, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Responsible for the quality, accuracy of results and delivery of analytics
Responsibilities
- Develops an understanding of internal controls, risk management, and governance practices so that recommendations are aligned with standards
- Builds professional relationships with team members and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or similar field.
- Experience using SQL, Python or other data query languages
- Supports the Auditing team in executing risk-based and required assurance engagements.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
Nice to have
- Previous internship experience, preferred
- One or more of the following areas are preferred: CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, CFA, or other certifications related to data.
