About the role

  • Corrections professionals who foster a humane and secure environment and ensure public safety by preparing individuals for successful reentry into our communities.
  • OR Specialized Experience: Progressively responsible analytical or administrative, or clinical management or supervisory experience in the health care field.
  • This work may have been performed in an operating health care facility or a higher organizational echelon with advisory or directional authority over such facilities.

  • To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular qualifications to successfully perform the duties of the position and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled.
  • Experience coordinating purchases and/or contracts for supplies, equipment, specialty care or ancillary services and maintaining par inventory levels.

  • Major study - hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration.
  • Progressively responsible analytical or administrative, or clinical management or supervisory experience in the health care field.
  • Education: There is no substitution of education for specialized experience for this grade level.
  • Experience in providing managerial oversight and/or directing the activities of a multi-disciplinary team of health care professionals.
  • Experience in the development, implementation and monitoring of administrative and clinical policies and programs as it relates to health care services.
