About the role
- We are seeking a Production Operator for our Hi-Pro Feeds brand in Comanche, TX. This manufacturing position will cover responsibilities in the areas of Mixing, Trace Area, Bagging, and Inventory Counts. The candidate will perform manual operational activities and operate machinery and tools. They will communicate daily with colleagues and supervisors. The
- Operator will work in compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures, as well as technical standards.
Responsibilities
- Continuous improvement: Signals deviations in current processes, techniques and/or systems and flags opportunities for improvement with supervisor, in order to continuously optimize and improve operational (work) processes, tools and systems.
- Good housekeeping: Ensures the work area is left clean and in a safe working condition and that there are no hazardous situations. Maintains the appearance of the production line(s), working area(s) and production site
Requirements
- Ability to work as a team
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physically capable of performing heavy lifting and/or working at heights
- Strong attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Available to work extended hours as needed
- Basic math and computer skills
- Must pass a drug screen
Nice to have
- Warehouse or mill experience preferred, but not required
