About the role

Responsibilities
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as collecting blood, urine, and stool samples
- Clean and maintain the clinic, including stocking supplies and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment
- Oath Animal Hospital is hiring a full-time Veterinary Assistant to work alongside our team of experienced veterinarians, skilled technicians, and devoted support staff to ensure each animal receives the best possible care during their stay with us.
Requirements
- Physical ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
- Funk has been named Bethpage's Best Veterinarian on Long Island for 10 years, and Oath Animal Hospital is honored to be recognized as Best Pet Hospital on Long Island in 2024, its inaugural year.
- Previous experience working with animals in a veterinary setting.
- Technical know-how in areas such as disinfection, administering medication, and using diagnostic equipment.
Compensation
- $18-$22 per hour, based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
