About the role

The Applications Engineer, Power Conversion Systems, is an individual contributor who provides technical leadership and customer-facing expertise for Dynapower's Clean Energy business segments.
Leveraging deep expertise in power electronics and BESS/renewable energy infrastructure, the role translates customer priorities-such as efficiency, redundancy, grid interaction, and scalability-into practical, compliant solutions.
With significant technical influence, this position plays a key role in driving customer adoption and supporting growth in the Power Conversion Systems market.

A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to approximately 50%
Demonstrated experience and strong working knowledge of power electronics
Proficiency with CRM tools
Salesforce experience preferred
Familiarity with rectifiers, power systems, and/or defense industry applications is a plus
Able to speak English & German
