About the role
- We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our innovative team specializing in LiDAR-based solutions and perception software.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize LiDAR-based perception software solutions for autonomous driving and other advanced applications.
- Develop and maintain software in Linux environments, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, system architects, and product managers, to deliver integrated solutions.
- Identify customer requirements and translate them into software engineering specifications; deliver software solutions to address customer challenges.
Requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Utilize edge AI platforms, such as NVIDIA Jetson, to deploy and test real-time perception software.
- Conduct software profiling, debugging, and optimization for efficient resource utilization.
- Identify customer requirements and translate them into software engineering specifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of work experience with in software engineering, focusing on autonomous driving, robotics, or similar domains.
- Proficiency in programming languages like C++, Python, or similar.
- Strong experience with Linux development and debugging tools.
- Solid understanding of sensor fusion, and perception algorithms.
Skills
- This position requires a solid understanding of machine learning, embedded Linux environments, and autonomous driving technologies.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in autonomous driving, LiDAR technologies, and edge AI platforms.
