About the role

  • You wil l focus on accurate data entry, validation, and coordination with local vendors to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time.
  • These qualities enable the team to achieve its mission and meet its responsibilities to the people it employs by supporting their output and the achievement of business objectives.
  • Ensures the accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly payroll(s) for both hourly and salaried employees in North America, and monthly payroll across entities in South America.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Time and Absence system for approximately 2,800 employees
  • Establish and maintain end-to-end reporting requests, creation, and processes to develop a best practice approach to report delivery; Completes routine and ad hoc reports.
  • Compile and analyze sensitive data to support various needs within the department or for external needs confidentially and securely.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of payroll laws and regulations and other related areas of compliance.
  • Experience with Workday HRIS
  • Must be highly motivated, able to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and sort through information to resolve complex and abstract issues, and reconcile complicated and detailed data.
  • Bachelor's degree and typically 3.
  • Must have proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

  • Other duties/projects as assigned.
  • Payroll Org certification (CPP or FPC) preferred.
  • Proficiency working in HRIS Systems (Workday and ADP preferred).

  • Strong aptitude with mathematical skills and data analysis

Compensation

  • Ensures the accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly payroll(s) for both hourly and salaried employees in North America, and monthly payroll across entities in South America.
  • Act as point person for employer response to internal and external audits related to employees, payroll and/or benefits (i.e., Workers' Compensation audit, payroll SOPs, unemployment claims, etc.)
