Responsibilities
- Manage editors, thumbnail designers, videographers, and pre-production workflows for Owner's YouTube channel
- Lead A/B testing for packaging across our back catalogue
- Maintain and present YouTube scorecard metrics (retention, view velocity, subscriber growth) to leadership
- Draft run-of-show documents, prompting follow-up questions, pacing segments, and capturing live notes for editors to shorten post-production time
- Manage post production and frame reviews with our editors and editing vendors and approve all final uploads
- Manage the YouTube upload calendar and coordinate with marketing, shorts teams, and external stakeholders for distribution and promotion
- Partner closely with the Sr Manager of Media Operations on production planning, resource management, and cross-channel coordination
- Collaborate with internal editors, thumbnail designers, and videographers
- Strong analytical instincts and ability to work with data to drive content decisions
- Enthusiasm to build AI-driven tools, automation, and new media workflows
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in YouTube channel management or development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into engaging content
- Experience managing creative teams and production workflows
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools
- Knowledge of editing software and Photoshop considered an asset but not required

- The estimated base salary range for this role is $160K-$170K, plus a generous pre-IPO equity package
