About the role
- We have immediate openings for Civil Engineers-In-Training (EIT) across our Tualatin, Bend, Keizer, Vancouver, and Seattle offices.
Responsibilities
- Design streets and utilities in line with state, county, and city standards.
- Perform plan and callout reviews to ensure all technical calculations are present.
- Prepare stormwater run-off calculations, designs, and reports.
- Engage directly with clients, agencies, and project stakeholders to develop your consulting presence and client management skills.
- 1 to 5 years of civil design experience, ideally with growing project management responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent with EIT certification and actively working toward PE licensure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams, clients, and agencies.
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and keep projects moving efficiently.
- This is the perfect opportunity for someone with a few years of experience and their EIT or EI certification who is ready to take the next step - not just as an engineer, but as a consultant.
Nice to have
- Familiar with HydroCAD or other hydro-modelling software for stormwater modeling and analysis.
- Enjoys mentoring and supporting the growth of junior staff.
