About the role
- The Application Architect I is responsible for designing and guiding the development of individual applications or application suites.
- The Application Architect I contributes to architectural governance and solution quality.
Responsibilities
- Design architecture for individual applications or application suites, ensuring alignment with functional and non-functional requirements.
- Develop technical specifications, design documents, and application models.
- Collaborate with solution and enterprise architects to ensure appropriate integration with other systems, services, and data sources.
- Mentor developers on design principles, coding best practices, and architectural patterns.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of software development experience.
- Strong understanding of application design patterns, architectural best practices, and integration approaches.
- Proficiency in major programming languages, development frameworks, and modern application stacks.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL database design, performance tuning, and data modeling.
- Ability to balance technical constraints with business requirements and user needs.

Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).
