About the role
- The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for supporting the upkeep, functionality, and safe operation of the facility, equipment, and production environment.
- The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently while following established procedures and maintenance standards.

Responsibilities
- The Maintenance Technician II will primarily be based out of our Abbotsford CNC Facility, but they will be expected to support BD Diesel's other facilities in Abbotsford when requested.
- The position also performs routine facility cleanliness, material handling support tasks, and assists in maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Complete welding, construction, and fabrication projects, including building tables, carts, shelving units, and other small metal or woodworking projects.
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing duties in support of the Communicable Disease Prevention Plan.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Sweep floors, remove garbage, and maintain organized work areas.
- Remove cardboard and maintain the cardboard compactor.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
Requirements
- Perform yard clean-up and exterior maintenance as required.
Compensation
- $30k-$40k
