Responsibilities

  • The right candidate will have some experience as a veterinary assistant and will manage all the radiographs that are scheduled for both emergent and specialty cases, and will have the opportunity to be trained on running our CT.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience as a veterinary technician
  • Updated knowledge of radiation protection and safety knowledge
  • Positive outlook and ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community is required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are required
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. All current positions require the ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
  • Additional fluency in other languages is preferred but not required.

Skills

  • Oversee patients that require radiographs in both emergency and specialty
  • Safely prepare and position patients for radiographs
  • Attend to patient's needs during imaging
  • Maintaining all equipment on a per-use basis ensuring the safety and best practice care of all patients
