About the role

A Bench Technician is considered an in-house service/repair technician.
The equipment varies from communication hardware to lottery point of sale and vending equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures.

Perform maintenance, testing and calibration of repaired products, as well as inventory tracking.
Performs these functions and all other duties as assigned.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
An understanding of, and experience with, troubleshooting computer software and hardware technologies.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Ability to lift, install and move large self-service equipment (regularly lift or move 35 pounds or more).
Education
Promptly respond to customer/leadership requests and feedback.
Proven self-starter with motivation and ability.
Available to work overtime as needed.
Able to travel overnight if needed.
Ability to drive a non-CDL delivery truck.
Pass background check, DOT certification and drug test.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
Organization and time management skills that enable effective multitasking.
Strong judgement and problem-solving skills to determine most cost-effective repair/resolution.

The Bench Technician performs in-house servicing and repair of company products at an established company repair site or service center.
