Responsibilities

  • Analyze material usage trends and collaborate with planning teams to forecast requirements.
  • Track supplier performance, delivery accuracy, and lead‑time adherence
  • Support supplier qualification, audits, and corrective action processes.
  • Maintain accurate material master data, pricing, lead times, and supplier information.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

  • Provide analytical support for negotiations and supplier evaluations.

  • The Materials Buyer is responsible for coordinating, executing, and optimizing the procurement of materials required to support uninterrupted production.

Skills

  • Prior SAP experience, preferred.
  • Capable of sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Frequently required to sit; stand; walk; reach with hands and arms.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
  • Able to travel as needed.

Compensation

  • The expected pay range for this position is $55,000 - $82,500 annually.
