Requirements
- Lifting at least 50 pounds is required.
- Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.

Nice to have
- Successfully completed Board Certified Registered Nursing Program.
- One (1) year labor experience required.
- Current LA RN licensure.
- BLS required on hire.
- ALS and NRP preferred on hire, required within 3 months of hire.
- The ILCOR course must include a manikin check off.
- AWHONN Intermediate & Advanced Fetal Monitoring within 24 months of hire.
Skills
- Registered Nurses also supervise the activities of Licensed Practical Nurses, Unit Assistants and Certified Nursing Assistants.
- Registered Nurses work within the framework of the State Nurse Practice Act and follow hospital policies and procedures.
- The Registered Nurse also complies with hospital and nursing standards in the performance of job duties and responsibilities.
