About the role

Knowledge Road is seeking a part-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team and provide critical psychological services to students in NYC Department of Education (DOE) schools.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and adolescents through evidence-based psychological interventions.
Schedule & Location: This is a part-time, school-day position with a schedule that follows the NYC DOE calendar.

Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique developmental and cultural needs of each student.
Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of all services, progress, and outcomes in accordance with DOE regulations, HIPAA requirements, and Knowledge Road standards.

Master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program.
Minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychological services for children and adolescents.
Proficiency with electronic documentation systems and teletherapy platforms.
NYC DOE fingerprinting and vendor status required or willingness to obtain prior to start.
Documentation of your doctoral degree in Psychology.

We are currently hiring candidates for part-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) openings in Manhattan.
Schedule & Location:
This is a part-time, school-day position with a schedule that follows the NYC DOE calendar. You will offer services on-site at one or more schools in Manhattan, with assignments based on student needs. Hours/week are driven by IESP/IEP mandates
caseload may vary by assignment. Typically ~5-15 hours/week depending on placements.

Specialized training in child and adolescent therapy modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, play therapy, family therapy).
Experience with psychological assessment and testing.

Are you a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) passionate about supporting the mental health and academic achievement of students in Manhattan?
Provide direct, high-quality individual and group counseling services to students, as mandated by their Individualized Education Service Programs/Individualized Education Programs (IESP/IEP).
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to inform treatment planning and educational recommendations.
Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, school administrators, and other mental health professionals to create a holistic and supportive learning environment.
