About the role

  • With team support, oversee development and implementation of behavior support plans for individuals with challenging behaviors aged 5-21 in a residential school setting on a beautiful campus.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the process for conducting functional behavior assessments (direct & indirect).
  • Develops and implements behavior support plans using current and ethical practices of behavior analysis. Requires good writing skills, the ability to meet deadlines, work with others, manage paperwork, and use basic math skills to assess data.
  • Develops behavioral goals for IEP (as applicable) in collaboration with treatment team members.
  • Creates data collection systems for plans and/or monitor, graph, and analyze data pertaining to behavior plans.
  • Collaborates with staff pertaining to behavior problems and/or replacement behaviors.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software and e-mail applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. independently and assist in lifting weights exceeding 50 lbs.
  • Meet the requirements to drive company vehicles as required.

  • Monday - Friday hours, no travel required.

Nice to have

  • BCBA or NY LBA and Master's degree required.
  • Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred.

Compensation

  • $80,000 to $85,000 annually
