About the role
- The Construction Quality Control Manager helps to minimize risks, enhance project outcomes, and deliver a high-quality project.
- TRP has a current vacancy for a Construction Quality Control Manager who will play a crucial role in ensuring that construction activities meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications by implementing robust quality control, inspections and testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and execute the Inspection and Test Plans.
- Collaborate with project management, engineering, and site teams to identify quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
- Offer guidance and support to the subcontractors in resolving quality issues and enhancing their performance.
Requirements
- Has prior experience with or knowledge of the CAIS Construction Administration and Inspection Specifications, CAIT Manual Requirements, Ontario Provincial Standards Specifications, COT, and MTO standards.
- Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with relevant software tools and technology such as Microsoft Office Suite.
