Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Establish and maintain company-wide QA/QC standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Create and oversee project-specific Quality Control Plans (QCPs).
- Ensure compliance with owner specifications, contract requirements, applicable building codes, and industry standards.
- Lead investigations into quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop quality metrics and reporting dashboards to measure project performance and identify trends.
- Support commissioning, startup, and project closeout activities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of commercial or industrial construction experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in a QA/QC leadership or management role.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, building systems, commissioning, and quality management processes.
- Experience overseeing quality programs on large-scale mechanical, electrical, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, mission critical, or commercial construction projects.
- Working knowledge of applicable building codes, OSHA requirements, and industry standards.
- Experience developing Quality Control Plans and quality documentation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build relationships across field operations, project management, and executive leadership.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software such as Bluebeam.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
