About the role

  • Based in New York and reporting to the Chief Marketing & GTM Officer, this role will play a critical part in accelerating GMV growth and shaping the next phase of Fora's commercial organization.
  • Experiment with outbound prospecting strategies, messaging, and channel mix to identify effective approaches, then translate learnings into repeatable processes and playbooks.

Responsibilities

  • Build Fora's outbound sales organization from the ground up by developing the strategy, playbook, operating model, and team structure for a scalable outbound motion.
  • Develop a hiring strategy for the outbound Account Executive organization and the existing Business Development Representative team, aligning team growth with business goals and revenue performance.
  • Hire, onboard, coach, and develop high performing Account Executives while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and execution.
  • Lead and elevate the existing Business Development Representative team by implementing consistent coaching, performance management, and career development practices.
  • Design and implement structured sales enablement programs, including onboarding, ramp plans, call reviews, skills development, and ongoing performance feedback.
  • Develop compensation plans, quota frameworks, and ramp structures that support sustainable GMV growth while aligning with company economics.
  • Partner closely with Revenue Operations to establish reporting, performance dashboards, and the operational metrics needed to measure and optimize a newly established outbound motion.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Marketing and other partners to build a repeatable pipeline generation engine that drives qualified opportunities and long term growth.
  • Lead the organization to consistently achieve revenue targets by using performance data and customer insights to continuously improve execution.
  • Build scalable sales processes and operating rhythms that support efficient growth as the organization expands.

Requirements

  • Experience improving the performance of existing sales teams through coaching, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Experience selling to small and medium sized businesses, ideally within high volume or transactional sales environments.
  • Experience working at high growth technology companies serving small and medium sized businesses.
  • Experience leading organizations through the evolution from an inbound led sales model to a mature outbound motion.

Compensation

  • Compensation for this role varies based on experience, with an indicative range of $175-$195K + OTE. Final compensation will depend on the level at which the candidate is hired, as we're considering multiple levels for this role.
