- The Motion Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating complex animated graphics and infographics, kinetic typography and video assets.
Responsibilities
- Design and animate broadcast graphics for TEGNA local news stations (including logo design, informational graphics, branding and marketing projects)
- They will work with a team of other artists and designers that will support all the TEGNA television stations daily.
- Design & Production & Production Coordinator, as well as employees across all TEGNA stations nationwide.
Requirements
- Candidate must have had formal training in design/art school and preferably motion graphic curriculum at trade school or college.

- Ability to multitask projects
- Flexibility & experience with current design & editing AI tools.
Nice to have
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Proficient in Cinema 4d and/or Blender preferred, but not mandatory.
- Strong executional skills in Adobe products, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects, Cinema 4D and Premiere Pro are also preferred, any Chyron experience is a plus
Compensation
- $55k -$62k Annually/ $26.44-$ 29.81 hourly
- Our 401(k) program offers full, part-time and temporary employees the opportunity to contribute 1% - 80% of their pay on a pre-tax basis to TEGNA's 401(k).
- Contributions made up to the first 4% of pay are eligible for a 100% match from the company and are 100% vested from day one.
