About the role
- Serve as primary point of contact for EHR help desk requests, and ensuring timely communication, issue resolution, and follow through.
- An individual in this position may be exposed to communicable diseases or hazards common to a healthcare setting, including but not limited to needle stick wounds, chemicals, and tuberculosis.
Responsibilities
- Typically, a blend of sedentary office work such as sitting and typing and a light physical effort for field support.
- Collaborate with software vendors to troubleshoot technical issues, implement new features, and support software updates and system enhancements.
- Develop and maintain workflow documentation and software training materials aligned with organizational policies and clinical procedures.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of workflows and data collection processes to meet HRSA reporting requirements and meet additional standards as directed.
- Perform critical clinical application support functions to maintain operational continuity when Clinical Applications Coordinator is not available.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products especially Excel and PowerPoint

- Must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple, and sometimes competing projects at the same time.
