About the role

  • As a member of Fidelity's Engineering Operations team, you will be directly responsible for ensuring that equipment operates reliably, and the uptime of the facility is supported.
  • Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll be self-performing or overseeing vendor-performed maintenance on critical equipment serving mission critical rooms and offices.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, commercial experience, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all preventive and remedial maintenance work on building mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems to ensure critical distribution systems including the chiller plant, generators and UPS requirements are met with minimal adverse business impact.
  • Direct and assist as necessary vendors/contractors as they perform remedial repair activities.
  • Support Fidelity's ISO-14001 Environmental Management System, ISO-27001 Information Security Management and SSAE-16/18 regulatory reporting requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, construction documents and O&M manuals.
  • Ability to develop and maintain procedures such as SOP, MOP etc.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED, trade school or equivalent required
  • Experience with any or all Building Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing or Controls systems.
  • You are highly organized and diligent in balancing maintenance priorities and procedures.

Nice to have

  • 2+ years of experience in a mission critical environment a plus
  • Licensed HVAC/Refrigeration or Electrical is a plus.

Compensation

  • The base salary range for this position is $60,000-115,000 USD per year.

  • The base salary range for this position is $60,000-115,000 USD per year.
  • Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
  • Base salary is only part of the total compensation package.
  • Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
