About the role
- We are currently seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
- The Accounting Manager will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Maintain and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing accurate financial data and variance analysis.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and reporting support.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
- CPA preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with exposure to supervisory or leadership responsibilities preferred but not required.
Compensation
- For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in, Archetype includes a reasonable estimate of the salary for this role.
- This accounts for the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.
- A reasonable estimate of the compensation is a $125,000 to $135,000 base salary.
