About the role
- By closely collaborating with engineering, regulatory, quality, and commercial teams, Clinical Engineering helps align product strategy with patient outcomes and business goals.

Responsibilities
- We lead pre‑clinical evaluation strategies, design validation and human factors activities, and contribute to regulatory and quality system deliverables.
- Develop internal expertise in clinical domains relevant to the company's products.
- Own the creation supporting documentation during product development for the quality system and regulatory submissions
- Serve as a key clinical expert in design reviews, requirement definition, and product development strategy.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of clinical engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Develop and implement robust clinical performance metrics to drive continuous product evaluation and improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key regulatory bodies to stay informed of emerging regulations and industry trends.
- Support the commercial use of the device

Requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate concepts, ideas, and knowledge to other individuals and teams.
- Knowledge of basic anatomy, clinical terminology, and general surgical techniques.
- Knowledge of fundamentals of robotics or electromechanical systems.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science
- Master's degree preferred

- The Pay Range for this position is listed.

- Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors such as location as permitted by law.
- Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
- California Pay Range
- $115,000 - $160,000 USD
