Responsibilities
- Maintain clock records for Contract Employees.
- Maintain the uniforms contracts -ensuring billing accuracy for participating employees.
- Manage year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and audits.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
Requirements
- 3+ years of payroll administration experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Experience processing multi-state payroll.
- Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Experience with payroll processing systems: ADP, ExponentHR, WorkDay, etc.
Nice to have
- Bilingual English/Spanish a big plus.
- Understanding of manufacturing workforce payroll practices, including shift differentials and overtime calculations.
- Familiarity with time clock systems a plus.
Skills
- Knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and tax compliance.
- Proficiency with payroll software systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification is a plus.
