About the role
- We're a people-focused accounting services firm that helps business owners get back to what they do best by handling the financial heavy-lifting with clarity, consistency, and care.
- Just thoughtful self-starters doing real work, done well.
- We look for people who take ownership, invest in relationships, and aim to raise the standard every day.
Responsibilities
- Client Document Intake & Open Item Tracking - Own the client document collection process across all engagements; review every intake for completeness; follow up proactively on missing items; maintain a real-time open item log accessible to you and the Execution Leader at any moment.
- Return Preparation Coordination - Assign, manage, and monitor return prep tasks with our offshore pay-per-return team; enforce firm standards on output quality; escalate delays and deficiencies immediately rather than absorbing them.
- Client Filing Status Updates - Keep the Tax Compliance Execution Leader and internal stakeholders current on return status, blockers, approaching deadlines, and next steps; maintain visibility so the team can act, not react.
- We support nearly 100 clients across the country with scalable, high-quality accounting solutions - and we're just getting started.
- We're growing intentionally, investing in the right systems, structure, and culture to support great work and sustainable careers.
- Inside our team, we lead with trust, autonomy, and accountability - no micromanaging, no performative fluff.
- Someone who can own the full coordination layer between clients, an offshore return prep team, and internal reviewers - keeping every return moving without being chased?
- you follow systems, improve them when something doesn't fit, and document the fix.
- You'll build deep, marketable expertise inside a focused practice.
- We're looking for a production-minded accountant who's been in the thick of a real busy season and wants to build their career inside a firm that's scaling intentionally.
