About the role

  • The Director, Power Strategy will play a vital role in leading strategic and operations initiatives across Riot's increasingly diversified business operations.
  • This position will be based in Austin, TX, or our Denver, CO office.
  • Relocation assistance is available for non-local candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to manage cross-functionally and take ownership of workstreams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to quickly establish and maintain positive professional relationships both internally and externally and to work well with project teams and external advisors.

Requirements

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and an "ownership" attitude required to drive projects forward.

Nice to have

  • Experience with network operations center, QSE, ERCOT operations, and/or power trading is a plus, as is an existing network of relationships across such counterparties.

Compensation

  • Compensation and Benefits Competitive Salary: $150,000 - $170,000 (commensurate with experience) + bonus + sign-on equity grant.
