- Responsible for maintenance of seasonal equipment.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance of production and processing equipment, refrigeration, boiler room, waste plant, building maintenance, and seasonal preparation. Ensures high quality and safety standards are met.
- Maintain constant contact with production and processing operators and supervision to obtain maximum machine uptime.
- Train other mechanics in the proper set-up, adjustment, and maintenance of production, processing and seasonal support equipment and supervise them to accomplish maintenance requirements.
- Recommend and initiates changes to improve equipment operating performance and performs job estimates.
- Maintenance of production and processing equipment, refrigeration, boiler room, waste plant, building maintenance, and seasonal preparation.
Requirements
- Demonstrate ability to safely work on and around complex, highly automated machinery in a non-temperature regulated environment.
- Minimum of (5) five years related, applicable experience with machine maintenance and repair.
Nice to have
- Experience in food manufacturing desired.
- Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma a plus.

- We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to provide maintenance service for all plant production and processing equipment to meet established production requirements.
- This is a union position and the pay rate is $25.54 per hour.

- This position functions out of our 24/7 manufacturing facility in Westfield, NY.
