About the role
- As a Founding Engineer (Full-Stack), you'll be one of the earliest engineers on the team, with a direct impact on the product's architecture, quality, and direction.
- You'll take full ownership of features from concept through deployment and maintenance, working closely with operations, product, and customers to ship things that matter.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end feature development - from scoping and architecture to deployment and iteration - across the full stack
- Build and maintain robust backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, including background jobs and event-driven workflows with Inngest
- Develop responsive, polished frontend experiences with Vue.js / Nuxt
- Design and maintain PostgreSQL database schemas (via Supabase) with a strong focus on data integrity and performance
- Manage deployments and infrastructure on Render and dedicated environments on Microsoft Azure
- Relocation support is available for the right candidate.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production web applications (full-stack)
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript / Node.js backend development
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design
- Experience owning complete features or projects from concept through deployment and ongoing maintenance
- Frontend experience with React/Next.js or Vue.js + Nuxt
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience deploying and managing apps with Render and Inngest
- familiarity with Microsoft Azure
- Experience integrating LLMs or AI/ML APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.)
- Familiarity with serverless workflows or event-driven architecture
Compensation
- Salary: $175,000 - $200,000 per year
