Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams across the POET system to assist in the efficiency of information flow.
- Maintain and update role-specific documentation while identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ years' experience in accounting or a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office including MS Excel and Outlook.
- Experience working with financial statements.
- Ability to problem-solve and have an analytical mindset.
- Excellent organizational and time management, as well as the ability to embrace change.
- Effective written and oral communication.
- Desire to learn and understand the "why" behind your responsibilities.
- High level of personal integrity
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively multi-task
- Sense of urgency, which drives results

- As a POET Grain Accountant, you will get the opportunity to work closely with the grain teams at our bioprocessing facilities as well as some of our grain customers.
- Your position will play an integral role in ensuring accurate payments are issued to grain customers.
- Process grain settlements and issue accurate, timely payments to grain customers.
