About the role

  • This role is responsible for managing production personnel, improving manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, driving operational efficiency, and maintaining a strong culture of safety and accountability across the plant floor.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, organize, and direct daily manufacturing operations and production activities.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop production personnel to support safety, productivity, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Support and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Maintain and enforce production standards, safety procedures, and quality expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with quality, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
  • Maintain accurate production records, process documentation, and operational reporting.
  • Support workplace organization and operational excellence initiatives throughout the facility.
  • Ability to interpret production data and drive performance improvements.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory or management experience required.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production flow, quality systems, and process improvement.

Nice to have

  • OSHA safety certification preferred.
  • Experience operating or supporting industrial manufacturing equipment.
  • Forklift or material handling equipment experience is a plus.
  • Experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Kaizen preferred.
  • This individual will work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams to achieve operational goals while maintaining high standards for safety, productivity, and product consistency.
  • This is a working leadership role that requires active engagement on the manufacturing floor alongside production teams.
  • Monitor employee performance, attendance, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Establish daily, weekly, and monthly production objectives and communicate expectations to the team.
