Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Must have a valid California Driver's License subject to successful verification through a DMV check, is mandatory
- Must be experienced with drilling equipment and understand their capabilities and limitations
- Experience with drill set up and design processes
- Basic ability to use small tools/hand tools
- Ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules and operating instructions
- Must be able to proficiently use locators to safely identify utilities
Nice to have
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's license with tanker endorsement preferred but not required
- A minimum of two years drill bore operating experience preferred
- Previous construction experience or utility construction experienced preferred
Skills
- Proficient use of MS Office applications including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; teleconferencing applications
- Functional use of common office equipment, computers, and office software
- Ability to distinguish colors and audible tones

- Position Impact: The Bore Operator is responsible for safely operating various drilling equipment, including directional drills and excavation tools, to install and maintain telecommunication infrastructure.

- Qualifications and Experience: • Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship • Minimum of 18 years of age • Must have a valid California Driver's License subject to successful verification through a DMV check, is mandatory • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's license with tanker endorsement preferred but not required • Must be experienced with drilling equipment and understand their capabilities and limitations • Experience with drill set up and design processes • Basic ability to use small tools/hand tools • Ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules and operating instructions • Must be able to proficiently use locators to safely identify utilities • A minimum of two years drill bore operating experience preferred • Previous construction experience or utility construction experienced preferred • Ability to travel to multiple work sites, work overtime, weekends, holidays, or off hours as needed • The ability to effectively communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension, as necessary for effective job performance and workplace communication • Proficiency in Spanish Language desirable
