Responsibilities

  • Ensure divisional compliance with COCA accreditation standards and support institutional strategic initiatives.
  • Additional responsibilities include contributing to teaching, scholarship, service, and student engagement activities in support of the College's mission.

Requirements

  • DO or MD degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of clinical practice experience in Family Medicine.
  • Experience mentoring faculty.
  • Experience with accreditation processes.
  • Current AOA or ABMS board certification in Family Medicine.
  • Eligibility for unrestricted Ohio medical licensure.
  • Eligibility for clinical privileges at a partner health system.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in undergraduate or graduate medical education.
  • Experience developing assessment items for NBOME or NBME.
  • Budget management experience in an academic or healthcare setting.
  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of Family Medicine curricular content across preclinical and clinical years.
  • Serve as Clinical Clerkship Director for third-year Family Medicine rotations.
  • Mentor and evaluate division faculty and medical students, including career advising and residency preparation.
