About the role
- This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Plan, install, and maintain computer systems, including physical and virtual servers, storage area networks and networks attached storage on five enclaves.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware.
- Perform performance monitoring and tuning, upgrades and patching, backup and recovery, as well as troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Develop and maintain schedules and plans for system updates and patching.
- Create accounts and groups in Active Directory and create and modify.
- Assist in building, coordinating, maintaining, changing, and updating, the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages for the five enclaves administered by AFOSI.
- Zigabyte is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide technical support for the US Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) in Quantico.
Requirements
- Experience with rack mounted or blade server hardware.
- Experience with Active Directory to include creating accounts and groups
- Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining servers with Microsoft Windows.
- navigating a domain tree.
Nice to have
- 3 years' experience in systems administration in a Windows based environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field desired.
- Must be certified at IAT Level II (e.g., Security+, or other certification satisfying DoD 8140 certification requirements).
- Microsoft certification a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows technologies, including Active Directory, Windows Administration, scripting, and Windows configuration techniques.
- Experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022
- MS SQL Server 2016 and 2019
- and VMWare ESXi, vCenter, and vSAN, and Horizon.
