About the role

  • Our Filtration and Performance Additives division is seeking four (4) Plant Mechanics in our Quincy, WA facility.
  • The Plant Mechanic will be responsible for performance of mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, installations, inspections and preventive and predictive maintenance activity.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs with minimum supervision.
  • Perform tasks from verbal/written instructions and communicate effectively with supervisor and fellow employees.
  • Follow directions as given. Retain acquired knowledge, build competencies and share skills.

Requirements

  • S. degree from a community college or technical school.
  • Perform departmental or equipment cleaning as required.
  • Show proficiency in the identification and use of seals, lubricants, hose, chemicals, hardware and filters.
  • Complete required paperwork in timely manner.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Skills

  • Minimum of high school diploma and/or equivalent; prefer one-year certificate or A. S. degree from a community college or technical school.
  • 4+ years of experience in the maintenance function in an industrial plant.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, and understand symbols for electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical power transmission systems.
  • Working knowledge and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and wiring.
