About the role

  • We're looking for a software configuration manager in the United States.

  • By managing changes to prevent service disruptions and maintaining accurate records, the SCM plays a crucial part in ensuring software stability and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the organization's software configuration management plan, detailing processes and procedures for tracking system components.
  • Manage multiple software repositories, ensuring the accuracy of all configuration item records and their relationships.
  • Establish and control configuration baselines for software, providing a formal reference point for future builds and changes.
  • Lead and facilitate configuration control boards to review and approve proposed changes to system configurations.
  • Create and distribute reports on configuration status, metrics, and compliance to management and relevant technical teams.
  • Provide training and support to technical staff on configuration management policies, procedures, and the use of management tools.
  • Selflessly collaborate towards our shared purpose.

Compensation

  • $110,000-$170,000 per year (California).
  • This range represents the anticipated base pay for this role; the final offer may vary based on qualifications, experience, and location.
