Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for avionics throughout the product lifecycle
- Develop and maintain ground support software tools and systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define and deliver new software features
- Document designs, code, and procedures to ensure maintainability and compliance
- Debug, optimize, and support software and hardware integration efforts
- Exposure to continuous integration, automated build/test, and hardware-in-the-loop systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of professional experience in embedded C/C++ development for ARM, SoC, or FPGA softcore platforms
- Hands-on experience with hardware interface programming (timers, interrupts, communication protocols, ADCs, etc.)
- Proficiency reading schematics and debugging with hardware tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
- Experience using version control systems such as Git
- Ability to work effectively in both independent and collaborative settings, managing multiple priorities
- Experience with software development standards such as RTCA DO-178
- Familiarity with Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, and/or other scripting languages
- Experience with RTOS and/or Linux-based embedded systems
- Familiarity with controls engineering (sensors, actuators, and motors)

Compensation
- Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $125,000 - $155,000, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
