  • Provides in person counselling services for TELUS Health's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Join our team: TELUS Health is seeking a dedicated in-person clinician to join our TELUS Office in Surrey, BC.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage administrative requirements in accordance with the client's EAP model.
  • Effectively manage intake processes, conduct thorough assessments, and develop effective treatment plans.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work.
  • Ability to set short term objectives and use a solution focused therapeutic approach, along with other therapeutic approaches.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to the ebb and flow of daily responsibilities.
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems.
  • Registration with Professional College or Association
  • Minimum of five years of post-master's clinical experience, supporting all client groups.
  • Certified or extensively trained in Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
  • Experience and ability to clinically manage high-risk cases, including clients who are a threat to self or others.
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to manage a large number of clients.
  • Exceptional customer service focus, high professionalism, and adherence to ethical principles of conduct.
  • Previous counselling experience working with professionals is an asset.
  • Experience in utilizing performance metrics to enhance client satisfaction and optimize service delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility in working day/evening shifts.

Compensation

  • Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance, experience and location.
  • $52,500 - $106,000
