About the role

  • The Scheduler is responsible for ensuring that all scheduling processes take place in an accurate and timely manner with regard to pipeline and department cutoffs.
  • This role will analyze data, monitor and reconcile imbalances, set up make-up/pay-back schedules with appropriate shippers, and initiate settlements.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with gas accountants to establish and implement invoice procedures; updates database to prepare invoices and statements; assists in resolution of billing discrepancies and responds to questions regarding term transactions

Requirements

  • Must be willing to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holidays as the need arises
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
  • Proficiency in multiple pipeline electronic bulletin boards (EBBs)
  • Sound knowledge of Endur pathing requirements
  • Knowledge of storage asset utilization, and LDC and Power generation markets
  • Strong understanding of regional and physical grid
  • In-depth knowledge of Daily live and G2 systems

Nice to have

  • minimum seven (7) years' experience with a gas marketing company
  • Gas accounting experience
  • Detailed knowledge of US gas pipeline systems, major plays, and business
