Responsibilities

  • Process Safety and Security: You will support compliance with Process Safety Management/Risk Management plan requirements for the ammonia refrigeration system and help ensure the Site Security Plan is followed.
  • Team Collaboration: As a member of the EHS team, you will ensure effective implementation and maintenance of all EHS requirements. You will provide support to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
  • Occasional travel involved to collaborate with others

  • In this key role, you will help implement policies that prioritize Worker Safety and EHS compliance.
  • You will support the EHS Team by leveraging your knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulatory frameworks to exceed compliance standards and support our best-in-industry EHS operation.

Requirements

  • Accustomed to working long hours, weekends, and remaining in an on-call status when required.
  • Frequently required to stand

  • Training and Compliance: You will help provide adequate training for production employees and management staff as required by OSHA and environmental permits.

Skills

  • Demonstrated computer skills, particularly in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and company software packages.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures in English
  • Basic math skills to manage Key Performance Indicators.
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Noise level in the work environment requires hearing protection.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Indoor and outdoor work environments.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Work alternate shifts and some weekends.
