About the role
- Job Responsibilities: - Establish annual enrollment goals and recruitment priorities for Texas and Southern Louisiana in collaboration with admission leadership.
- Analyze territory performance, demographic trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities to inform recruitment and enrollment strategies.
- Participate fully in holistic admission review and committee deliberations.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a year-round engagement strategy that includes school visits, college fairs, counselor programs, student and family events, alumni-supported activities, virtual programming, and admitted student yield initiatives.
- Manage a territory budget and allocate recruitment resources strategically to maximize enrollment outcomes and return on investment. Effectively use the admission office computer programs and databases.
- Collaborate with academic departments, athletics, alumni relations, financial aid, and other campus partners to support recruitment, enrollment, and retention efforts involving Texas and Southern Louisiana students.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably from a liberal arts institution.
- This position requires a valid driver's license, good driving record, and must be insurable by the College's insurance carrier.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office required.
- Must be comfortable working with customer relationship management software and all forms of social media.
- Excellent relationship-building skills required.
Nice to have
- Experience recruiting in Texas.
- Experience with Slate.
- Experience at a selective college or university.
- Physical Requirements:
- Must have the ability to walk and sit for extended periods
- talk and hear, both in person, by telephone, and virtually through computer speakers.
- Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, and lift (potential recruitment materials) up to 10 lbs.
- Frequent travel by car and plane
