About the role
- Promote safety awareness and follow safety procedures and policies.
- Take an active part in reporting unsafe conditions and any hazards within the workplace to their Supervisor, Manager and/or the Safety Department.
Responsibilities
- Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a safe manner to protect self, fellow employees, and the public from injury or harm.
- Work with Application Services team, primarily in the functional and technical support of Trapeze EAM System
- Analyze and maintain the workflows established for various teams in EAM system documenting modifications as needed.
- Provide technical support in creation of ad-hoc reports and search customizations.
- Document, resolve, and ensure proper follow-up to closure of issues.
- Manage data load templates and perform bulk data loads as needed.
- Manage application users and user role profiles.
- Maintain plans and processes to ensure system availability.
- Work with Application Services team, primarily in the functional and technical support of Trapeze EAM System; assist with other ITS systems like HASTUS and TransitMaster.
- Collaborate with network and server infrastructure teams when troubleshooting issues.
Requirements
- Previous work experience in applications administration with emphasis on supporting transit specific applications such as HASTUS, TransitMaster, and Trapeze EAM.
- Performs all other related duties as required.
- Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Essential to Job Functions:
Nice to have
- A background in transit scheduling/planning/operations, information technology or intelligent transportation systems strongly preferred.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent computer skills required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- An understanding of transit scheduling concepts and operations dispatch functions is strongly desired.
- Experience using Crystal Reports, MS Excel and other report generation tools is desired.
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Ability to work independently and use good judgment in decisions affecting application administration.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and the listed software applications associated with performance of assigned work is essential.
- Basic problem-solving skills associated with software applications used is expected.
Compensation
- $85,409 - $111,031
