About the role
- Position Overview Keep our communities fed.
- Our focus is simple but meaningful, from our distribution centers to our offices - every employee of C&S and their family of companies works to help feed local families, neighbors, and communities.
- Identify and monitor high volume and high dollar items during shipping process. - Labeling all pallets to be stocked and verify accuracy of inbound freight received by comparing the purchase order with the bill of lading.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate counts on inbound freight to insure appropriate warehouse storage availability.
- Perform all other daily/weekly/monthly tasks, not specifically mentioned herein, as described in the inventory control SOP program.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Nice to have
- $18/hour (Plus shift differential & freezer premium)
- At least six months of warehouse experience
- Electric Pallet Jack experience preferred
- Ability to work in varying temperatures.
- Ability to work a ten+ hour shift with occasional overtime.
- Ability to operate the necessary equipment.
- Ability to lift between 30 - 70 lbs, walk/ stand up to 12 hrs.
- Ability and willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures
